Empire Business Transitions is headquartered in Albany, NY. All of our in-house consultants have many years and top credentials in the financial industry. We work as a team, and in concert with a virtual network of highly professional experts to guide business managers and individuals in all aspects of wealth creation, protection, harvesting, and transitions.
What sets us apart from other business financial consultants? We believe in RELATIONSHIP. First and foremost, we take the time to develop a clear understanding of your personal and financial goals, and then look at your business in that context.
PRINCIPALS Brad Konopaske and Paul Paska have been providing wealth management services to individuals, business owners and nonprofit organizations for 25 years. Their unique approach of capturing business owners' personal vision prior to formal engagement is instrumental in successful client relationships and positive outcomes from the planning process.
Together, Brad and Paul have assisted small business owners in developing and implementing strategies that enhance the business value. Many of these strategies are aimed at the desire of entrepreneurs to create value to support a lifestyle with additional free time, higher cash flows or prepare the business for sale or transition to family members.
Brad and Paul are members of the Financial Planning Association, InKnowVision Institute, National Committee on Planned Giving and are Certified Legacy Advisors.
Bradley R. Konopaske
Brad maintains designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Registered Financial Consultant and Certified Retirement Counselor. These studies have allowed Brad to be well versed in all areas of the financial field. Brad was the founding Branch Finance Chair of the East Greenbush YMCA and served as Treasurer of YATMA, a nonprofit program that encourages Youth Advancement Through Music and Arts. Brad lives with his family in East Greenbush, NY.
Paul S. Paska
Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the State University of New York, College at Plattsburgh in 1985. He maintains the designation of Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow which allows him to meet the insurance needs of clients. Paul lives with his family in Clifton Park, NY. He also spends time engaged in his interests in martial arts and photography.
